One of the few things I think I can do well is take photographs of my various Gundam Model Kits. So in honor of that, I've made a seperate blog dedicated to only my Gunpla photography.

Recent activity
Well recently I've been lurking around Facebook more often. I don't have much else to do online besides talk to friends and post up vids on You Tube, so I've become more active on this particular public networking site. You can even become a fan of me now on my Facebook page (link can be found on the sidebar) as well as follow my company Angry Kitty Studios.

Busy, Busy, Busy
Man... I've been drawing more in the last few days than I have in the past few months...
I have three main things that I'm pouring all my efforts into, not counting AKS and my little "side-projects". Those three are:
1. RX-78-2 Gundam cosplay build
2. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Story of Anthony Hendricks webcomic
3. Looking for a damn job
Mostly number 3 has been taking up a lot of time, as it helps me with number 1. Number 2 however, has been the focus of my efforts at the moment, though not entirely. I've also drawn some fan-art (surprise!) that I will post up soon and I noticed I'm getting slightly better at anatomy. Though I realize directly copying another person's art style is near-impossible for me, so from now on my fan-art will be drawn in My Style. This shouldn't be a problem though as I can normally make the characters look as close as possible to their original source.
Right now though, I'm a bit fed up with searching for jobs. I've been turned down our outright rejected for months now and yet my mom still acts as though finding a job is as easy as asking for one. I've probably filled out so many applications and sent so many resumes, I could have typed a seven paragraph, three page long essay by now.
I really need the money because as it stands, I am flat broke. My checking account is empty, my savings is dwindling, and it's almost tempting to transfer funds from AKS to myself, but I won't do it. For one, that's kinda like stealing, and for two, that money belongs to all the members of AKS who really need it for their projects, not me just because I can't find a fecking job. One day I'll be employed and I can afford crucial things for my 2 "projects".
Till next time everyone...

Back from Anime Vegas 09!

Wow, this year's Anime Vegas was AWESOME! There's wasn't a Gundam panel as I had hoped, but Brad Swaile was there none-the-less so it made it worthwhile (I got my picture taken with him!). I got tons of autographs and even a new model kit from the convention, along with lots of laughs, a good time, and tons of memories. I can't WAIT for next year.
Also, I got THESE signed by Brad Swaile himself =D

Preperations for Anime Vegas and more

Anime Vegas is right around the corner and I'm making sure I have everything ready for when I attend. As I said I will be cosplaying as Harima Kenji (see picture) and I hope I can pull off the character. Alas, I have no money to spend at the convention, but I will try to get a picture of mine signed by Brad Swaile, famous for voice acting as a character from my all time favorite anime, Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam.
Also, I'm going to put up a new video soon to You Tube, a new "Tansho's Top Ten". This time it will be another "Boss Fight Themes" one, as I didn't get a chance to cover all my favorites in the last vid.
That's all for right now. Till Next time everyone!

Headed to the East Coast!
Well today I am headed to Scotia, New York for two weeks on a very important trip!
My moms are getting married in Connecticut! 8D
I'm very excited and happy for them, and I'm proud to be going with them. Some of my mom's family lives in New York, so we will be staying there and then go to Connecticut for the wedding itself.
It'll be my first time heading to the East Coast, and since I'm primarily a West Coast born-and-raised kid, I'm sure I will be in for an experience!
I don't know how much internet time I will be able to get, but I'll try to update as often as possible.
Till next time!

Upcoming projects and possible AatR Audition
Well I know I haven't been keeping up much with everything, lately, but I've been buys with many things (like Graduating High School), but now I have PLENTY of free time, so i should be able to get back on track with many of my projects.
Up front at the moment is my art work and some new photos I'm considering posting up on Deviant Art. Due to the new size of my sketchpad, it's hard to scan it in without the edges getting cut off or looking blurred. I'll most likely have to cut the pictures out which will take some time. Till then I'll post up some more photos like the one here.

One final note: I am considering auditioning for the The OCT (Original Character Tournament) called "Artists at the Ready". It looks interesting and I've always wanted to test out my drawing & writing abilities, so why not try out? It'll be a challenge, but I think I'd like to join in just to see how far I'd go.
So, till next time.

Running out of ideas
Okay... I officially have no idea what I'm going to post on You Tube anymore. Seriously, now that my Pure Randomness series is over and I've used nearly all my demotivational posters, I have no new material.
The only thing I've been posting on You Tube are my Tansho Talk Video Updates and some music. Of course I'll be posting some animations up soon, but those are under Angry Kitty Studios.
I could always make more Music Vids, but the question is, will anyone watch them? I'm VERY reluctant to revive the Pure Randomness series. :/

Re-opening Art Commissions!
Alright, alright... after some consideration (and lots of motivation from my friends), I've decided to re-open my Art Commissions. I guess I'll give it a chance and hope I'll attract some customers. My art is getting better and I have alot of new talent I'm working on, so I might be able to offer more services.
All in all, I'm glad that my friends were able to inspire me to rethink my plans. You guys rock. =3

Art Commissions Closed... permanently.
Well... over a month has passed with no new commissions, so I'm calling it quits. It's clear that no one will or wants to hire me for a commission... ever. I suppose $5 dollars was just too much for them. Or maybe my art was just crap compared to some of the other "experts" on Deviant Art. Either case, I'm officially ending my Commissions and will update my Deviant Art page later today with a similar announcement to this.
If this experience has taught me anything, is that [my] art won't make me any money anytime soon... Hell, I might as well start looking for some boring-ass fast-food job to make money. At least that comes with a steady paycheck.

Updates and time constraints
Lately both my Deviant Art and You Tube accounts have been lax when it comes to updates, mostly cause my busy school life has, well... kept me busy.
I have a few projects in the works but nothing major will be finished will be done within the week. I can scan in some of my latest art and maybe post a new video, but nothing can be garunteed.
So, till next time everyone.

Nothing new really...
Well my art commissions have been good so far, with 2 completed and proudly posted in my gallery. The only problem is that I haven't gotten a single commission since then.
At only $5 per piece, my art is relatively cheap... even by commission standards. :/
Well as least this gives me time to practice my art a little more and create new videos. My latest animation video should be up soon, but I'm torn between posting a "full" version or a "short" version, as the later is nearly finished. I'll figure it out eventually and post whichever one I decide on.
Till next time...

A new way to enhance my art

Recently, I've gotten a hold of something that will really help me to colorize my artwork: Corel Painter 4 Essentials!
To my left is my latest work using the program, and I have a few others I'm working on right now. While it's easy to use, my art does take time to create, but Izuki here only took a few hours.
This can also be found on my Deviant Art page, which is located in the "Links" section here in my Blog.

Accepting art commisions (super cheap!)
After some serious consideration, I've finally decided to accept art commissions. =)
How much? Well for $5 dollars my artwork is certainly the cheapest you'll find on Deviant Art (or anywhere else). The reason I'm only charging a mere five bucks is because I don't consider my art "professional" enough for anything more.
So, for $5 you can choose any one of the following?
-A chibi character art (Color or B&W)
-A full-size character art (B&W, max size 8in. x 11in.)
-Character Portrait (Color, max-size 8in. x 11in.)
Note that each of these are for ONE character. Extra character will add a dollar. (Yes, I'm that cheap XD )
All payments can be made through my Pay Pal account. (antonio_meza1218@yahoo.com)

First Post in my new Blog Account

Okay, so since I'm on the computer and the internet quite often, I thought I'd try a hand at this "blogging" thing. As much as I've used the internet I've never used blogs before, so it will be new to me.
Main uses for this account will include:
-Updates on my Videos for You Tube -Link-
-Newest Artwork
-Random "Rants" of the week
-and other uses (not sure what yet)
So, to any and all who read my blogs, this is Tansho Erizawa, saying "till next time everyone".
